A group to help support, develop and encourage evangelism across Wakefield diocese.
The aims of the Evangelism Group are:
- To bring together a group of practitioners in different aspects of evangelism to resource and encourage a variety of patterns of evangelism within the Diocese.
- To support parishes in their thinking and doing in evangelism.
- To help train and encourage Christians in their witness and evangelism.
- To offer support for parishes wanting to develop a variety of missionary expressions of church and Christian community.
- To offer strategic guidance and insight in evangelism to the Diocese, deaneries and parishes.
