The Royal School of Church Music is an international ecumenical organisation which aims to nurture music-making in worship and in the wider community, by providing a wide range of resources. Its main premises are located in Surrey, but its activities throughout the world are promoted by a network of local Area Committees. The Wakefield Diocese is served by the Wakefield Area Committee.

The Royal School of Church Music website offers a variety of resources for church musicians, including advice about training, remuneration, events and membership.
