Participation and Listening
“Young people all over the country need to hear the words of Christ’s love for them in all manner of ways. So too, we the Church need to hear afresh God speaking to us through the life and witness of children.”
Most Revd & Rt Honourable Dr John Sentamu, Archbishop of York
Year of the Child 2009
2009 was the 30th Anniversary of the United Nations year of the Child. In Wakefield Diocese 10 packages were written to enable the voice of children and young people to be heard. These were and can still be used to seek the views in a creative and imaginative way.
Please download the topic you require for more information or download the feedback to see what children and young people have to say.
Gifts and Talents
Four packages were written to listen to the voices of a deanery about stewardship and giving. There are two packages for adults and two packages for children and young people.
