Transforming lives
Transforming congregations
Transforming communities
Leading the Diocese of Wakefield to its 125th Anniversary in 2013.
'Investing in our Faith' is a diocesan-wide initiative to help renew and transform our lives and our churches so that we can be used by God to help transform our communities and our world.
A range of resources will encourage individuals, churches, deaneries and the diocese and its structures to be better and prayerfully equipped to serve God.
PRAY
We depend on God for our life and our life together as a diocese. Prayer is at the heart of 'Investing in our Faith'.
THINK
Seeking God's guidance we will explore options and plans for our churches, deaneries and diocese so that we are better organised and resourced to build our common life and move on in mission.
DO
'Investing in our Faith' is not a talking shop. It is about practically equipping ourselves and our churches to make Christ known by word and deed, and through prayerful reflection and action making a difference in our communities.
